Iceflakes has above-average strength for its cost, when compared to a card like Lawless Herd, but remains immobile for an extra turn when played.
- You can play Iceflakes in front of strong enemy units so that they attack Iceflakes instead of having to wait for Iceflakes to move into enemies.
- Spellbinder Zhevana can destroy Iceflakes with her effect, allowing you to gain 4 mana for 2 mana, on top of Spellbinder Zhevana's original cost.
