Celestial Summoners is one of the cards in Stormbound: Kingdom Wars.
Overview[]
Celestial Summoners is an epic Ancient unit that spawns smaller units on surrouinding tiles. Note that the unit type of the spawned units can vary between all unit types. Its strength and the spawned unit strength can be increased by leveling it up. Celestial Summoners fits well into decks that want to have many units in play.
Strategies[]
The units Celestil Summoners spawn will not move the turn they are spawned, so the actual Celestial Summoners unit could be blocked from one of its tokens. Any units that are placed next to or move into the spaces on either side will prevent the Tokens from being spawned, so make sure when you play it you try and maximize the number of units it spawns each turn.
- If Celestial Summoners is confused, the tokens will still spawn before it moves, and one could subsequently be attacked if it spawns on either sides of Celestial Summoners.
- Celestial Summoners synergize well with units that can buff the strength of many units, like Soap Cleanse and Acid Greenhorns or Big Sisters of Growth.
- Pay attention to card such as Hunter's Vengeance or Bladestorm that can clear many units at once, removing all the Tokens from the board. Hunter's Vengeance is more effective on Celestial Summoners than on any other Ancients that can spawn units (like Bounded Daemons) due to the fact that Celestial Summoners' Tokens can be of many different unit types, not just Ancients.
- Celestial Summoners is great to disallow your opponent to reach critical parts of the board due to the big area that its Tokens cover. This makes Celestial Summoners good at defending your base or a structure, forcing your opponent to clear your tokens first and then move into your position.
