Cards are the main component of Stormbound: Kingdom Wars. They are collected and organized into a Deck, which is used to fight against an opponent's deck. They can be collected from the Campaign, Ranked Mode, and the Shop.

Rarity[]

Cards can have 4 different rarities: common, rare, epic, and legendary. While common cards are the easiest to find in books, it gets harder to find rare, then epic, and then legendaries are the scarcest. Each card rarity requires a different amount of copies to upgrade to the next level. If you do not have enough copies to upgrade the card, you can use Fusion Stones in place of those missing copies. The amount of fusion stones needed to replace a card depends on the rarity of the card. It takes 3, 7, 15, and 30 Fusion Stones to replace copies of common, rare, epic, and legendary cards respectively.

For players who have never upgraded any cards, there is an upgrading tutorial that will guide them through the upgrading system, and will make each player have a level 2 Gifted Recruits card at the end of it.

There is a second part of the tutorial that gives out Fusion Stone.png 6 fusion stones, so players can decide themselves if they want to level up another common card right away or keep them for later.
